WHAT YOU DO
The ATV season begins mid-May and continues until snowfall.
Each ATV is licensed to operate on surface roads and requires a basic liability policy in the operator's name. A comprehensive and collision waiver is available with a deductible for an additional cost. Each operator becomes responsible for any damages to the ATV.

Operator requirements
Each ATV operator must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Liability insurance is required, a comprehensive and collision waiver is optional.
ATV Regulations
The Black Hills Forest is governed by the USFS. Adherence to the requlations become the responsibility of the operator.
